America's food culture


Many associate the United States with fast food. But in fact the U.S. is divided into 13 different areas where each has his kind of food.
The areas are:
California: California is the kitchen in the United States along with New York City that has the most varied cuisine. They tend to pull inspiration from many different countries. It started out as a mixture between Spanish and Indian cuisine. But later it went more into the European and Chinese cuisine.
Since then, the Californian cuisine also got inspiration from the vitenamesiske, Japanese and koreaske food culture.
